Opening Weekend — June 18-21

The following itinerary will give you an idea of what to expect on this action packed weekend:

June 18
Board the Lady Express at Chelan at 8:30 or at Fields Point at 9:20. We send you a pass with your confirmation packet. You arrive in Stehekin at 10:45 and are met by the bus that takes you to Stehekin Valley Ranch in time to settle in to your cabin, a leisurely lunch, then a 2:30 departure on a River Rafting trip that takes you for a 10 mile run down the beautiful and thrilling Stehekin River. We get you back to the ranch in time for a hot shower and savory dinner.

June 19
Finds you enjoying a morning kayak tour on Lake Chelan and then back to the ranch in time for lunch or you may pack a sack lunch if your afternoon hiking plans are in the lower valley. The afternoon is yours to pick a hike from a variety of choices for an afternoon hike.

June 20
Horseback ride in the morning to Coon Lake on trail wise Norwegian Fjord Horses. This ride is perfect for the beginner or the experienced lover of horse and splendid views. After Lunch Mountain bike the Stehekin Valley and explore sites in the lower valley. The trails are closed to biking but the road makes an excellent place to try out a 21 speed Mountain Bike that is supplied by Discovery Bikes. This is a great way to tour the valley and your bike is safe by a tree if you decide to stop and fish, hike, or stop and "smell the pine trees".

June 21
Breakfast is served and then it is back on the bus for your trip down valley stopping at all the points of interest including Rainbow Falls, The Old Stehekin School and of course the bakery. The Lady Express arrives back at Fields Point at 1:35 PM or Chelan at 2:20. This gives you ample daylight to travel to your next destination. All meals are included in this package including lunch the day you arrive and a sack lunch for the day you depart. Price also includes all transportation in the Stehekin Valley as well as your round trip ticket on the Lady Express. This price includes a Ranch Cabin, which comes with linens and towels. We like to have a minimum of two people in these cabins so if you are traveling alone we will try to find a compatible room mate for you but better yet bring your own. If you wish to have your own cabin we can put singles in a Tent Cabin. All activities specified are included as well which include river rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Waivers are required for all organized activities**.

*Parking fees at Chelan or Fields Point are not included in these packages. We require a 50% deposit to reserve a space on these packages. This deposit is subject to our cancellation policy.

**All activities are subject to weather and other safety concerns. If we cancel any activity for reasons of safety or otherwise, we are only responsible for refunding the value of that particular activity. To participate in any of the activities you will be required to sign an Assumption of Risk waiver.

***Please note that the Lady Express passenger boat does not run at this time of year. The Lady II boat will arrive at the Stehekin Landing where you can purchase lunch at 12:30. The shuttle will pick you up at 2:00pm and get you to the Ranch by 2:30pm. All scheduled activities will start the next day. Rafting is not included in this package due to water levels.
